As the only recognized Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area) outside of Ireland, the North American Gaeltacht is excited to announce the launch of our first Festival of Snow (Winter Immersion Week) in February 2021. After the success of our e-Gaeltacht Immersion Week last summer, we have decided to add regular virtual programming to the Gaeltacht activities going forward.

Over the course of five days, experienced teachers will offer daily language classes for all levels. As well, a variety of cultural workshops will be offered, giving students the chance to practice their language skills outside the classroom. It is our goal that every learner will be at ease practicing and speaking Irish in a relaxed atmosphere.

We are offering a unique opportunity for immersive learning with classes and a workshop each day through video chat. The Festival of Snow is the perfect opportunity to have a Gaeltacht experience from wherever you are!
